Matthew 4:19-20

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." 20At once they left their nets and followed him.

Closing 2008... Opening 2009
We've all done it every year… but do we really complete the goal? We make ALL these New Year Resolutions to help us form or create change in our life… But do we really finish the goal when the New Year comes to an end?? If any one finishes their goal, congrats!! But if not, no worries… were human, mistakes happen, life is unpredictable…

Start the Journey with Him ~Galatians 3:3

What is the primary goal of Christians? What do we keep moving, keep going, and keep living for…? Were trying to be like Jesus… right? That's one of our goals along with preaching and sharing the gospel of Christ with ALL. Think about it, we try each day, each month to become more like Jesus, the very one that took our place on the cross! So, do ever reach that goal of becoming like Jesus? Have we reached last year's New Years Resolution?

You don't need to go alone, He is waiting for you ~Galatians 3:3

Personal, I have fallen short of becoming like Jesus… just when we think we have it all worked out, bam; we fall flat on our face, two feet, two yards from reaching our goal! Were human, our own efforts causes us to stumble… we need to give our goal to God, to give us His hand to do His will in our life… give our all to God, even that New Year Resolution you made this 2009 year!!
